Update 26.12.09: Die Weihnachtsbotschaft für Fotografierende hat in diesem Jahr Dr. Martina Mettner verfasst. In unnachahmlicher Direktheit aber milden Worten hat sie das Bild als Ausdrucksform in der Bedeutung vor seine technische Umsetzung gestellt – eine Hymne auf das Foto und gegen den Hype zu immer perfekterer Aufnahmetechnik und die Illusionen, die mit ihrer Verfügbarkeit verbunden sind. Klasse liebe Martina!

Ich würde dem ohne Widerspruch ganz und gar zustimmen, allein der Hinweis auf eine wie auch immer quantifizierbare neue Armut unter Fotografen und der ganzen Gesellschaft hat einen unnötig endzeitlichen Beigeschmack. Ich glaube, die Lage ist besser als die Stimmung …
